Position Title: Regional Accounts Director
Required Skills/Experience:
Senior Accounts Director (preferably from a network agency)
A diplomatic character who enjoys the global politics that comes with an international account
Direct Marketing background (including digital)
International experience preferable or at the very least has an international outlook / acceptance
Strategic thinker (a planning brain)
o Ability to drive proactive strategy and to think where the client is today and where it needs to get to
Direct Marketing
o Develop and advise clients on Contact strategies & Customer lifecycle
o B2B experience
o Data & Analytics knowledge
o Creative evaluation ability
o Loyalty marketing - knowledge of using incentives in DM and potentially past experience of loyalty schemes as a customer retention tool
Regional expertise
o Management of accounts on a pan-regional level
o Knowledge of, and experience of working with, China, Japan and India
Team management
o Ability to delegate and lead the team with clear direction and inspiring leadership
Client relations
o Clear position as account lead, with ability to gain immediate respect from senior clients
Network agency
o Understanding of global agency structures and working practices
Integration
o Ability to work in integrated fashion with agency partners in Region and Globally (UK)
o Management of other offices in the Region
Financial awareness
o Financial astuteness with proven track record of delivering profitability
o Understanding of financial projections, phasing revenue and monthly tracking
