A leading Oil & Gas Industry company listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a subsea engineering and construction contractor to the oil and gas sector worldwide is expanding and have an immediate opening for the following position of:
Regional Human Resource Manager
(Offshore Operations)
The incumbent will be based in the Singapore office and will have responsibility for the overall HR management of offshore workforce in the Asia/Middle East region. The global offshore HR group provides HR support and guidance to all offshore personnel and ensures common systems, policies and procedures. The person will be an HR generalist with responsibility for managing a small team; be able to operate strategically, but also be involved in operational matters when required; understand change management and have the credibility and personal style to influence those others, and enjoy interacting with a diverse workforce.
Key competencies include
•Significant HR experience as a senior HR generalist preferably working with offshore contractors to the Oil & Gas industry (experience managing remote sites from other industries will be considered);
•Exposure to the Asia Pacific Region and experience of working with multi-cultural workforce;
•The ability to quickly establish credibility with key stakeholders;
•Highly developed networking and influencing skills;
•Demonstrable track record in the design delivery of processes and procedures that lead to operational efficiency; and
•Has worked in large internationally focussed, capital intensive safety critical business.
