Project Engineer / Manager
Responsibilities:
MANAGER
- With strong structural design experience and some knowledge of other disciplines such as mechanical & electrical
- Preferred someone with strong design and project management experience
- Focus on project technical delivery
- Ensure all Company Engineering’s project delivery (according to company and industry standard)
- Ensuring compliance with company, HES, QC and overall industry standards.
- To check design drawings and calculations
- Review and provide input/advice on project specifications and standards.
- Review current processes and proactively recommend changes with the purpose of improving safety, quality, throughput times and costs.
- Contract management such as billing, cost, time & resources control.
- Discuss and evaluate client’s specification and business contract, budget
- Lead, manage and supervise a team of multi-national Engineers and Designers of various disciplines.
- Preparation of progress reports and technical papers.
- To work closely with engineers in this region (including Australia)
- To work closely with and report to the Regional Manager (SE Asia) directly
ENGINEER
• Responsible for managing the contracts issues
• Deal with all contractor & sub-contractor on agree specifications
• Initiate and manage Procurement activities including preparation of specifications, negotiations and vendors selection to drive cost effective solutions.
• Provide logistics and staging facility support to Project Managers and Lead Engineers.
• Prepare all applicable drawings/documents for submission according to schedule and specifications of Project Managers/ Lead Engineer
• Provide technical support for sales proposal.
• Attend progress meeting as well as work back in office to manage the contract and attend site when the job is on site
Requirements:
Manager
- Min 12 – 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
- Projects & contractual management experience.
- Conversant with engineering software.
- Able to travel occasionally to offshore.
- Candidate should have the reference contacts of his past employers.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and practices.
- Knowledge of business development would be an advantage
- Strong communication skills.
- To work closely with and report to the Regional Manager (SE Asia) directly
- Salary 9k - 12k per month.
Engineer
• At least 4 years' relevant experience, preferably with past relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
• Fluent in oral and written English and preferably in another language useful to the region covered.
• Good knowledge of PC application programs.
• Good personality, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Conversant with AutoCAD, Microsoft office and other related drafting tools.
• Familiar with structural design and analysis software.
• Familiar with international standards and design codes.
• Ability to carry out relevant design, analysis and calculations.
• Both Local and overseas posting are available.
