Business Development Executive/Manager (5days/MNC)
Salary: S$3000 - S$4000
Established branded cosmetics & skin care distributor seeks individuals for the position of Business Development Executive/Manager
They are looking for someone who possesses an accounting background with strong numeric analysis capability; and is well-groomed, presentable and polished, as he/she is the first point of contact with our (potential) principals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
DEVELOP REGIONAL MARKETS
• Set up Rep Offices in the region
• Ensure smooth incorporation of JV with partner
• Oversee all aspects of regional business
• Pitch for new brands for the market
• Manage & oversee the joint venture business
• Ensure monthly reports received, review & report performance to management
NEW BUSINESS & BRANDS
• Attend new business/brands meetings whenever delegated.
• To see through the planning & negotiation stage with the respective business/brands Principal.
FRANCHISE
• Develop the franchise model for the special retail concept or any other new projects in the future.
• Work with internal customers as well as government agencies to structure the model
PRICING
• Work together with the Business Analysts on the pricing & cost structure for all brands within the Company
TRADE RELATIONS
• Establish strong relationships with Principals and related government bodies (eg STB, IE Singapore) which are instrumental in providing assistance and funding to the Company
OTHERS
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting
• Some form of marketing qualifications preferred
• Good presentation skills
• Computer literate especially excel and powerpoint
• At least 2 yrs of similar background & experience.
• Franchise know-how and regional experience will be advantageous
• Related industry ideal but not a must
• Passion for the business
